SSWEET is a specialty bakery offering artistic cakes, gourmet treats and classes. Located at 1232 S Lapeer Rd in Lake Orion, Michigan, our shop features a daily selection of fresh individual desserts such as delectable deep-dish cookies, creatively crafted cakesicles, and fanciful fruity parfaits. We gladly accept orders made in advance for larger quantities or whole cakes. Sugar art is our strong suit – just take a look at our portfoliio! We welcome requests for expertly decorated cakes and cookies and are confident that your eyes and palate alike will be delighted with our creations. We’re also happy to share our skills and hope you’ll join us for one of our scheduled decorating classes or just pop in to watch one of our weekly decorating demos.

Don’t let the southern accent fool ya – Alison is a long-time Lake Orion resident. As mom to two dragons (’23 and ’26), she began her baking career out of her home over a decade ago as a way to indulge her creative side while raising a family and volunteering in our schools. Alison still has a passion for serving the community, turning her craft into a commercial space that employs adults with special needs and continuing her work as a Sugar Angel with Icing Smiles, Inc.

FAQs

Allergen statement:
Our bakery uses wheat, milk, egg, soy, peanuts and tree nuts; any of our products may come into contact with these allergens. We do not recommend our baked goods for those with food-related allergies or autoimmune conditions. 

Ordering policies:
Please reach out at least one week in advance for our signature desserts, two weeks for special orders. Items are subject to availability -- we often book several weeks out. Quotes for special orders are good for 3 days. Full payment is required to place order. Our treats are for local pick-up only; no shipping or delivery. Please review your invoice for additional policies.

Sugar art practices:

We create original artwork for our customers. Out of respect other bakers' work we cannot base our designs on photos of other cakes or cookies. Please note that for legal reasons we will not use licensed characters and trademarked material from other media in our paid orders.

PRODUCTS

Our bakery case is stocked daily with individual sweet treats: cookies, bars, cake pops and cake jars. Cookies and cupcakes by the dozen and whole cakes (10 or more servings) can be ordered with advance notice. Please note that we do not offer sheet cakes or mini cakes for special order.
